2. Your character's talents - what's your spec, and why?
Currently playing Unholy DPS because I know for a fact that Unholy DPS is great for raiding and I would never change back. If you notice both my specs are very similar athough one has dropped 'Desecration' for 'Morbidity' because I feel its more effective in high end raids.

3. What aspects of your talent spec do you believe contribute directly to raid performance? The AOE damage and outright spell damage of all my Diseases, not to mention my various pets and there added damage and numbers in a raid group. I also think DK's are great in raids because of there infinite energy sorce, not having to rely on Mana.


4. Would you consider changing spec to be more useful in raids? I certainly would, although I don't think you will find a better raiding spec for a DK then mine.


5. What glyphs are you currently using, and what're your reasons for choosing these? They are mostly DPS enchaning Glyphs such as 'Glyph of Icy Touch', 'Glyph of the Ghoul', 'Glyph of Dark Death' my minor glyphs just help saving time and regents with also adding range to some of my skills.. 'Glyph of Raise Dead', 'Glyph of Pestilence', 'Glyph of Horn of Winter'.

7. List the stats you believe are core to your class and spec and why. In oder of importance to my class.. Str, Hit, Crit, AP, Spell Pen, Spell Hit, Stam and expertise. Str and Hit are defiantly a big one for me, Str gives you all your damage and Hit is well... just hit and to hit all the time is my aim.


8. Resist sets - Please list any resistance sets you have, and unbuffed statistics for each. Currently don't have any resistance sets although I am willing to get anything if needed.


9. What are your long-term gear aims and why? Long term gear goals would including being the best geared DK on the server and have a GS of atleast 6k before Cataclysm.


10. What're your professions, and do you have any recipies of note? Currently only have 450 in Herbalism for the money side of it. Thinking of dropping Herb for Mining + Engi for the added DPS and Repair bots :)


11. What are your main goals in WoW, in terms of PvE and PvP?
PVE I would like to explore and compete everything in the game, I have been playing since the beta and have already done everything upto WotLK. I like to aim high and hope to make it into the top 10 DK's in the world. As for PVP my main goal is to make the 2012 World Championship for 3v3 or 2v2.

12. What games do you play outside of WoW, or what have you played prior to WoW? I also play HoN (Heroes of Newerth) apart from that nothing else


13. When did you begin playing WoW, and what got you into it?
I started playing in the Beta, way back when. What got me into it was sheer bordem at the time but ive grown to love the game and don't think I will ever quit

14. Please list the guilds you've been in since you started playing, and be as complete as possible.
Since Xfering from Khaz'Goroth I have only been in Depth. The reason I am leaving is because they currently don't have a Raid spot for a DPS DK.. I wasn't kicked out and have been with them since I came back to Wotlk


15. How did you come to leave these guilds, or if you're still in one, why do you wish to leave?Answered Above


16. What raid experience do you have? This includes Classic and BC raiding as well as what you've done in Wrath.

Pre-BC: All of ZG, AQ20, Ony, MC, BWL, AQ40 and the first few bosses of Naxx before BC Release (Didn't give us much time in my opinion)

BC: All of Kara, Gruul, Mag, ZA, SC, Eye, Hyjal, BT and some of Sunwell

Wotlk: Utgarde Keep Heroic... Seriously I haven't gotten to far after only returning to WoW from a few months break (Life got in the way of my games ). I have studied up on all the boss fights in Wotlk (All that count) and learn very quickly my position in a raid.


17. ER utilizes a loot council system, not DKP. This means that ultimately gear will be rewarded to the players who would benefit most from it, or deserve it the most as defined by a group of officers and your peers. What do you say to that?

I think its fine, I have grown up with DKP since the start and feel like a change anyways

I am looking for a raiding guild and a bunch of people I can just have a great time with. ER seems like my type of people and I hope I can fit in

20. What are your feelings about circles? A circle is a simple shape of Euclidean geometry consisting of those points in a plane which are equidistant from a given point called the center. Unlike a Square a circle has no sides or points. The circle has been known since before the beginning of recorded history. It is the basis for the wheel, which, with related inventions such as gears, makes much of modern civilization possible. This is what I know about Circles and I think they are awesome.. nuff Said

Depending on how many drinks I was to purchase during the night, I would most likely get a beer or two then just non alcoholic beverages, since I am not that much of a drinker

Favorite song is rather hard for a person who works with hundreds of his favorite songs per week :p Currently Crookers Ft. Kelis - No Security would be up there. Movie would have to be Avatar, I love that shit its pro :)

You have a lot of hit. Both gemmed and geared - trinket, etc.

Also, only one profession?

If you're still going to have work commitments on Thursday nights, it may impede you from doing 10 man runs within the guild, which would be the obvious place for you to (relatively) quickly gear up.

Yea I gotta drop some of that Hit down, 8-10% should be enough. Only one profession at the moment as I have only been focusing on gearing up. I do work late night on Thursdays sometimes, for example I don't have work tonight or next week but I may have it the week after.

Firstly our melee line up is very solid, and pretty much always has been. This could mean you would miss out on 25s(not always, but its a very big possibility). We run a 2nd ICC10s group on Thursdays but like Nish already mentioned you wont be available for. :(

What happened on your old server that has made you remain and xfer? armory link for other toons? or guilds?


Hit rating:
Aim for 7%(230 rating) in a perfect raid.
Drop [Mark of Supremacy] for a Greatness deck or Whispering Fanged Skull(the weekly is Marrowgar, you should be able to get a group capable of Deathwhisper as well).

Lose the hit gem from your legs... doing those 2 things alone will drop you down ~280(8.5%) or so hit, which means you will be just over hit cap without a draenei.

Expertise:
aim for 26(174 rating), grab the ring from the last boss in heroic HoR(drop the agi one), it has 40 expertise rating on it. Also try to get Victors call from ToC10(drop NES), it has 84 expertise rating, with these new pieces you will be fine.

Gems:
STRENGTH! its the best dps per point stat a DK can get. the ONLY time you gem outside of pure Strength is if its a yellow socket with a good bonus(4+ Strength or 6+ Crit), and to get your meta going, sink a nightmares tear(+10 stats) into a blue socket which has the best socket bonus ofc, the other gem would be a Str/Stam gem(once again, put it in the blue socket with the best bonus!)

quick run down of your gemming would be:
Helm - Meta + 10 str/10 crit
Chest - 10 stats + 10 str/10 sta(this piece alone will get your meta going)
Gloves - 10 str/10 crit
Legs - 10 str/10 crit + 20 str
Boots - 10 str/10 crit
Weapon - 10 str/10 crit

Enchants:
everything is fine, EXCEPT for spell pen to cloak, it has absolutely no benefit in pve dps, its purely a pvp stat :( Enchant it with haste.

Boots is more of a debate, I havent really ever said "I wish I had that speed boost". Simply because if there is that "OH SHIT" moment you can go unholy presence, and if you have to switch targets in a fight, lead with Icy touch to begin attacking, which is a ranged attack and before that global is out I am within melee.... idk its personal preference..

Crafted gear:
ToC bracers (Titanium Spikeguards), these are pretty cheap nowadays and it would lower your hit rating

ToC Chest (Titanium Razorplate) another very cheap piece of gear and is a solid piece until t10.

Also the ICC crafted gear is great, just a little pricey :p

You also have a tank cloak..... there are a few BOEs that would be a decent upgrade(even the toc25 agi cloak...)

Professions:
The best option is Blacksmithing and Jewelcrafting, however if you want to go in favour of a cheaper option, engi does run a close 3rd.

spec/glyphs:
glyphs are fine, but you need to move 2 from desecration and put them in to finish necrosis, ie.

My old server is just dead, nothing really happening in the ways of PVE or PVP. I don't mind sitting out when needed aslong as I can make some raids. Thur night really isnt a prob 70% of the time, The only time it will be a problem is around Xmas when work gets real busy.

Thanks for the tips Facerollin, I didn't expect to have the gear I got now for too long so really haven't put the hard yards with gems and what not. When I gemmed my legs I had no Hit at all so thats why its there. I will trade my gems out for strength as soon as I can. The Cloak and Boot enchant was strickly for PVP as I was doing a little pvp at the time I got my enchants done.

Crafted gear is a little bit of a problem at the moment, I am well aware of its upgrade but strapped for cash. If you notice my 2nd spec (Currently not using it because I haven't changed the gems from my tanking ones) I traded out Desecration for Morbidity. Another strong talent instead of the 5/5 Necro

Desecration no longer gives the 5% damage buff, it was split into desolation.. and unholys talent tree is very bloated, and our auto attacks + necrosis + blood caked blade make up a larger portion of our dps, so we actually dont put any points in morbity :(

-From you raiding experience, it seems like you are a capable player, but its pretty clear you just rerolled :p you could turn out to be a dedicated raider which is exactly what we need right now, with fixing all mentioned above and keeping your high goals I would like to see you in action, best of luck with your app.

Yea this is my 3rd account, I sold my prebc one for about $450 with the release of BC... after about a week of bordem I started again and made an orc shaman. Sold him just before wotlk for $560 then had a few months break as you can tell.. bordem slowly but surely krept back in and here I am :) although this time I don't plan to quit and have already pre-ordered Cataclysm
